About Vanessa Davis BA Hons Post Grad DipSocSci (Msc equiv USA)

In her role as Practitioner Psychologist/Systemic Psychotherapist working for the NHS (National
Health Service UK) Vanessa developed an interest in the relationship between mental health
and spirituality.

This led her to a 30-year immersion into the study of shamanism and cross cultural healing practices.

Vanessa apprenticed in Shamanic Practice with Howard and Elsa Malpas, (Isle of Avalon Foundation) to Advanced level and assisted them on training courses. She is a student of Jose and Lena Stevens and Anna Stevens-Harrington (The Power Path School of Shamanism). She remains indebted to the Shipibo nation of Peru and the Wixaritari (Huichol) people of Mexico who have generously shared their traditions and wisdom with her, her husband Alan, and many others who are on this path.

Vanessa is an “end of life companion” supporting people who are dying, their loved ones and carers. She is a HELD (Help from an End of Life Doula) trained practitioner and offers counsel to this training program and it’s participants. Vanessa is also a “Living and Dying Project” certified volunteer.
